The 240 grit abrasiveness is a delicate abrasive for finishing work. It is suitable for correcting the length and shape of natural nails, careful filing of the free edge, and leveling the surface of artificial nails before coating. The soft layer between the abrasive and the base cushions and conforms to the curve of the nail, so the file fits evenly against the surface and works especially softly. Therefore, these files are convenient for thin and weakened natural nails.

The aluminum oxide abrasive works effectively and retains its properties for a long time. The files are designed for filing dry nails.
